Come join me at ROCK CON at the Sheraton Meadowlands Hotel and Conference Center from July 30 to August 1. Some of the other guests that will be appearing will be artists such as the founding member of the Beach Boys Al Jardine, KISS member Bruce Kulick, The Rascals member Gene Cornish, Johnny Winter, Village People member Randy Jones, and many more. Other guests include Clay Cole, Rock & Roll promoter Sid Bernstein, Dinky Dawson, my good friend and recording engineer Dennis Ferrante, and many more. Super Mega Show

I will be appearing at the Super Mega Show at Crowne Plaza in Fairfield, New Jersey from July 9-11. A Special Dharma Center in NYC

A coA couple of months ago, Cynthia Neilson and I had interviewed Tibetan Master Namkha Rinpoche, a disciple of the Dalai Lama and actor Michael Imperioli (Sopranos) about the recently opened Dharma center in downtown New York City. This center was personally given its name by His Holiness Dalai Lama, “RIGDZIN PHUNTSOK LING” which means “EXCELLENT SANCTUARY OF AWARENESS HOLDERS.” What makes this center special is that we get to have Master Rinpoche here often to conduct workshops and teachings with the NY community.

An Exhibition of Photographer’s Iain Macmillan Works

I am so happy to announce that an exhibition of the late Iain Macmillan’s photography works will be on display from Feb. 27th to June 3rd in Dundee, Scotland at The Discovery Point Gallery. There will be photographs from his Abbey Road album cover sessions with The Beatles, John and Yoko, Old Dundee, celebrities, and others. I am proud to have known Iain and was able to speak with him a week before he passed away. When I look back on these photos, it will be with lots of memories of that time. I must find the photo he took of me on my birthday when I turned “21″ when we were all staying at The St. Regis Hotel. I will be there to cheer this exhibition on.

Louise Harrison’s son passes away

It is with such sadness to learn of Gordon Caldwell’s passing this morning. Louise has a daughter too and she is in ICU at the moment. Please send your prayers and thoughts for Louise and her family at this time of need.

Mary Travers’ Memorial

At The Riverside Church in NYC, people packed the pews. I think it filled the capacity of 1800. Between the videos of people who couldn’t be there like Gloria Steinem, Bill Cosby, Arlo Guthrie and Harry Belafonte and the speakers who were…it was magical. Heard from singers like Peter and Paul with their stories of the last days with Mary. Nothing said throughout the evening was depressing, it was all uplifting. Other singers included Pete Seeger, Tom Paxton, Theodore Bikel and Judy Collins. Absolutely amazing. The speakers were also amazing…Anne Meara, Jerry Stiller, Whoopi Goldberg, Sen. John Kerry and George McGovern to name a few. Around in the audience, I saw producer Phil Ramone and his wife, Karen. Annie Lebovitz looking for her seat. Politicans Mark Green and former Mayor David Dinkins were seen there. I am sure there were plenty more that I had missed. I left around 10 pm and it was still going on. I was tired….had been there since 5:30 pm.

Julian Lennon’s White Feather Foundation

As most of you know, Julian is a big advocate of saving our planet. His Foundation website is now up and running. His White Feather Foundation generously donated money to an organization that I am deeply involved in, The Amazon Conservation Team, which is listed on the website. Julian’s involvement in the ecology goes back a long way to the early 90s. Please donate to a cause so dear to him which ultimately we are the benefactors.

JOHN EDWARD/INFINITE QUEST

Many years ago, my ex-husband and I went to see a psychic at a suggestion of friend. He was not a known psychic that I had heard of but was interested in going. We had to go to his office in Long Island. In the waiting room were several other people sitting patiently until it was their turn to see this man named John Edward..we were the last ones to be seen for the evening. I can only tell you that it was absolutely amazing what was told to me and to Tony. What seemed like minutes with him was really an hour and an half! My experience was an eye-opener and I went to see him with no expectations. John Edward told me things that only I knew and it wasn’t only about John Lennon.

He has a new website that encompasses all that is metaphysical. Even if you are slightly curious, just check it out.

Breakfast With The Beatles

A few of you have been sending me emails asking why I was no longer on the show. When I spoke with Chris Carter, a couple of weeks ago, he told me that management wanted some changes at the station. One being that phone call-ins be kept to a short amount of time. 30 seconds was what I was told. Obviously, that could not work in our situation. They wanted a live person to do the news. I understood and was glad I lasted over a year doing the news and to bring some of my input to it too. Chris mentioned that he was thinking of Jackie DeShannon. I know Jackie and said she would be great for this and she would be doing the news live with him. I want to thank all the fans who listened in and sent all those great emails to me. Much appreciated.

I do hope you will listen to my new internet radio program called DINNER SPECIALS serving it up with May Pang and Cynthia Neilson. Subject matter changes with each show. Please listen in.
